Author's Notes: My first fanfiction of 2025! And wouldn't you know, it features a self insert OC that I have never posted about. I'll make a post all about him... eventually, whenever that'll be. But for the stuff that's important to this fic, Eden is a foreign exchange student who's living with a host family. When I say "his parents" I'm not not talking about his actual parents lol.

I really need to write more about these two considering how much I talk to my friends about edenrui. Not posting this on AO3 because
1). I'm embarrassed
2). No one wants to read about some oc they've never heard of.
Also something I noticed when writing this, Rui sounds a lot like Lemres from Puyo Puyo. Either I just suck at writing him, or the two of them just sound alike.
